PAOLO VITALE
The brand is known for its craftsmanship and its work with both fine calf leathers and more exclusive materials. All belts are made in Italy by skilled artisans, with a strong focus on detail, finishing, and consistency. From the stitching to the construction, each piece reflects a hands-on approach to production.
A key part of Paolo Vitale’s identity is its in-house dyeing process. The leather is carefully selected, cut, dyed, washed, and dried at room temperature to preserve its natural qualities. Colours are developed internally using exclusive techniques, then fixed and refined through polishing, waxing, and heat treatments to enhance depth and durability.
The collection also includes belts made from exotic leathers such as crocodile, lizard, python, and snake, all fully certified according to international standards (CITES). These materials require a slower and more precise finishing process, handled with care to maintain the natural structure of the skin.
Buckles and metal components are produced with the same level of attention. Using moulding techniques similar to jewellery making, materials such as solid brass, steel, and sterling silver are shaped, sandblasted, and polished by hand. The result is a balanced product where leather and hardware work together seamlessly.
Paolo Vitale offers a clear proposition: well-made Italian belts, rooted in tradition, with a strong focus on material, craftsmanship, and long-term wear.
